ReceiptJar is a self-serve, one-time-use receipt processing tool. No user accounts or subscriptions are required.
ReceiptJar provides data extraction and formatting only. It does not provide tax, accounting, or legal advice. Users are solely responsible for reviewing, verifying, and using all extracted or exported data.
Payments are for processing time and system usage. Due to the temporary nature of processing, sessions that expire or files that are not downloaded in time cannot be recovered and are not eligible for refunds.
Temporary sessions are configured to expire after about 30 minutes. Browser-held files are removed during the active workflow or the next cleanup check after expiry. Users are responsible for keeping the session active and downloading their files before deletion occurs.
Receipt images or rasterized PDF pages may be sent to Google Cloud Vision for optical character recognition. Stripe processes payments and payment verification. Temporary session storage may use Upstash Redis when configured. These providers operate under their own applicable terms and privacy practices.
ReceiptJar is provided on an as-is basis. Support is limited, and the service is intended to be used independently without ongoing assistance.
