Receipt CSV and Excel templates
Use the header-only CSV for imports or the formatted Excel workbook for manual review. Both start with the same seven columns as a ReceiptJar paid export.
Download header-only CSV
A clean UTF-8 CSV containing only the seven export column names. Useful for imports and starting from scratch.

Keep the data sortable
- Use one receipt per row
- Keep dates in YYYY-MM-DD format
- Enter amounts as numbers without currency symbols
- Use consistent merchant and category names
Add context after export
Payment method, business purpose, reimbursable status, client/project, and tax treatment are useful optional columns—but ReceiptJar does not infer them. Add only the fields your workflow actually needs.
